I was hoping for an atmospheric smoky start up but 26043’s exhaust on starting up outside the shed was very clean, sounded good though..

The sun reappeared to show 26043’s immaculate paintwork nicely at Winchcombe with the 1135 Cheltenham – Toddington
26043 at Toddington with the 1540 Broadway – Cheltenham, 26043 was thrashed nicely on these later in the day trips.
Apologies for quality but heres 26043 at Dingwall with the early morning Far North conveying oil for Lairg and coal for Brora and Wick on June 1st 1982
