Well it’s not the most scintillating run I ever had north to Aberdeen – loco as weak as the proverbial on anything remotely resembling uphill – and the recovery time came in useful!!!! But loco and crew got there!!
1A23 was the classic chuck-out – I had anything between 1160 hp and 3300 on it!!!
