Until electrification in 1988 class 33’1 (bags) worked either 4 or 8 car TC units from Bournemouth to Weymouth , these being a portion of the hourly service to/from Waterloo. The 33’1s usually hauled the TC’s from Bournemouth and pushed from Weymouth. 5 33’1s were normally diagrammed to work the Weymouth portions.
