A week Scottish Rover, May/June 82
A week of good weather in Scotland, which included a visit by the Pope himself. Tony Ewer (RIP) was my company for much of the week, although several of S. Wales’s finest were on similar moves! As this was Tony Ewer’s first trip North of Perth we concentrated on chasing them Scottish Type 2’s. We also picked up on the local euphoria of the Papal visit and even glimpsed the “big man” himself passing Murrayfield. Happy days!
