Approaching Old Linslade’s bridge 139 i was not impressed to hear a “tug” DCR class 60 heading South just the 40 minutes early, so no 60 phot today then. The following hour saw a good bit of unit and power variety (for 2025 standards) .
A selection of the power viewed and photted below.

As “the tree” looks on 350250 and 350260 accelerate North with 2K29 1239 Euston – M.Keynes, the 350’2’s are now being stood down, dating from 2008-9 they helped oust a lot of the much more rateable 321 units, i doubt if many will mourn the passing of the 350’2s!

The new order 730’2 units on their second day of all day diagram operation with 730205 leading 730220 on 2K28 1330 M.Keynes – Euston

90044 and 90008 pass “the tree” at Old Linslade with 4M63 0912 Felixstowe – Garston

Beast! 37884 the former 37183 trudles South with 0H72 Derby – Wembley, the following day 37884 would haul the last “Renatus” units 321327 and 321329 from Wembley to Newport for scrap. As 37183 this fine tractor was Landore based from new till April 82

Thanks to Dave Spencer for this image of 37884’s earlier guise of 37183 at Inverness with the 1740 Inverness – Wick on September 21st 1983. 37183 was transferred to 60A from 87A in April 82

The inevitable shed in 66617 heads North with 6H50 Wembley – Tunstead stone empties

90004 and 90015 on an unusual up light move from Crewe to Wembley from where the pair would assist 66601 on cement empties

88002 looking good approach bridge 139 at Old Linslade with 4L48 1337 Daventry – Tilbury “Tesco train”.

Wild weather at Old Linslade back on February 12th 1991 as 31107 heads South with a ballast train, 31107 was cut up 4 years later…
