As we all know outings by diesels on the LBNGR are very infrequent. However a very late roster change saw the advertised Kettle for the 3 round trips on Thursday April 17th swapped for the LBNGR’s diesel hydraulic “Beaudesert”.
This 112hp Alan Keef Simplex T rebuild handled the busy load 4 rake with ease but some enjoyable thrash was on offer at least on the last round trip of the day. Next expected diesel action should be the LBNGR’s diesel gala on May 31st and June 1st.
