Class 87’s in Scotland

Through electrification to Glasgow and Mossend in May 74 saw the “sevens” work many top link Anglo Scottish duties, something they did, day in day out till late 2004. Electrification to Ayr and Edinburgh saw the class also feature there.

By 2025 its just LSL’s preserved 87002 thats likely to produce on tour duties North of the border
