The East Lancs Winter Gala, Sat Feb 10th 2024
After the monsoon rains of the Friday, Saturday dawned under bright skies out Bury way and although it clouded over the weather remained dry. The event was busy but no nasty SVR style wedges All the locos sampled were worked hard and to the crowd, the stock of load 4/5 Mk I’s also helped with much eh therms to bring back some of the smells of the 80’s! Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and thanks to “GK” for the fast car, much better than a caped Pendo!
