The moves and viewed gen hopefully speak for themselves. Easter 85 was cold and grey and its only with hindsight, writing these notes up 25 years later, that they seem more interesting. They perhaps form a good record of some of the last loco hauled steam heated cross country reliefs, Brum – Norwich’s, plus East coast footex’s, the Sheffield Shunt and even a “big can” on our “Milk empties”.
