I arrived at the gate to Ledburn’s bridge 129 around 6am just missing a chance to phot 92010 on 1M11 up Sleeper, to be honest it was still pretty dark with light cloud scudding by on the breeze.
The following passing traffic was photted, rapid tree and shrub growth is making up side passing traffic, particularly on the up slow a nightmare, this may be the last Summer up slow traffic (from the sunny side) will be possible.
In very gloomy light 730010 and 730018 head South at 0611 with the 0604 Bletchley – Euston.
66590 in improving light heads South at 0617 with 6Z76 Montsorrell – Wembley loaded stone which had also come down the Bedford – Bletchley branch.
66715 heads South at 0631 with 4L66 Daventry – Felixstowe liners

Then came the farce! various up units had been delayed or caped but then 88010 coasted wards a red peg around 0640 just North of bridge 129 on 4M77 Tilbury – Daventry “Tesco train”. Apparently there had been signalling issues in the Bletchley area.
4M77 was held at the red peg for 15 minutes or so with the sun appearing big time on 4M77 too!
350247 and 350401 on the 0621 Euston – Birmingham is also checked due to the signalling farce!
Normality returns, in nice light 92020 heads South with 1M16 up Caledonian Sleeper
Passing through the nuisance shrubbery 90042 and 90010 with 4L49 Basford Hall – London Gateway almost on time at 0735 which the 90’s will work to Wembley.
