Network Rail’s tree gangs have severly pruned one of the trees at bridge 129, Ledburn. This, for now gives down side views of up traffic not seen for 20 years. Unlike 2002 only one tree has been done so far so fresh growth will quickly obscure the scene once again…

The more drastric tree pruning in 2003 allowed classic scenes like 87002 on the 1615 Brum – Euston on September 3rd 2003 to be recorded….
