A few days out West with Monday 3rd June ‘s “down Midnight” a good start with 57603 atop proper sleeper stock in the form of coaches 17104, 12100, 10225, 10601, 10532, 10534, 10596, 10563 and 57602 tailing to Reading,
A Liskeard leap then plastic to North Devon where visits courtesy of Mr Jennings included Meldon Quarry and Torrington. The diesel day at the West Somerset was excellent, 24054 being in fine voice in particular. Returned home on the Friday with 159 power from Exeter, a good trip
