An immaculate 47467 looking good with ploughs on 1M42 1030 Inverness – Euston Clansman” at Perth on April 10th 1984
The fair city of Perth’s still largely unspoilt magnificent station has seen a fair bit of variety in terms of differing loco classes working passenger service trains through Perth’s platforms. It is likely the Prototype DP2 worked to Perth on the Kings X – Perth early car carrier/motorail services in the mid 60’s too. Class 46 remains a question mark but the passenger service train list runs to at least classes 08, 17, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 37, 40, 44, 45, 46, 47. 50, 55, 56, 66, 67, and 73, thats 20!
Railtours don’t count but obviously this would expand the Perth variety that bit more!
