Class 47’3 at St Pancras

Members of the 81 strong 47’3 sub class have always been regular enough sights on the Southern end of the Midland Main line on MGR, cement and oil traffic. They have always been extremely rare on passenger and so are rare visitors to St Pancras. They were definitely more common in the 70’s before Mk IId/e air conditioned stock precluded their use.
