The Glos-Warks Autumn Showcase, Saturday Oct 25th 2025
A big event down Toddington way, 4 steam and 4 diesels out (20137/20228, 24081 and 26043), 4 rakes of stock, a freight and an intensive timetable. Good value at £30 too. The weather was a bit gloomy first thing, some heavy showers but then an afternoon of classic autumn sun.

The immaculate 47105 on shed at Toddington, this 47 which retains her boiler was stopped for maintenance, her sister 47376 being rostered to work the following day.
20228 and 20137 run round at Broadway to form the 0958 Broadway – Winchcombe. The last time i had 20228 was back in May 89! thru Luton too!
As the sun begins to reappear 26043 rests at Cheltenham after a good run on the 1050 ex Broadway .
Been umpteen years since i saw a 26 on a freight , heres 26043 heading East from Cheltenham with a classic mixed goods
