An enjoyable 4 days in Inverness on a Highland Rover. Whilst much of the snow had long gone it remained thick on the hills and down to track level on the higher sections. The weather went seriously downhill on the Thursday with heavy rain South of Aviemore causing Highland Line bustitutions, delays, capeages ect. My sleeper was diverted via Aberdeen yet that night’s 2022 Inverness – Glasgow was routed vis the Highland line and was only delayed half an hour,,,
