A quick semi normal trip North, the sleeper North, Easy Jet South – sadly in terms of customer care, comfort and value for money Easy Jet offer much better based on the evidence of this trip.
Getting Kinbrace on the Far North in was a personal highlight, finally cleared my Far North shacks, ie i have got off one train and on a different train at every Far North shack including currently closed Altnabreac, taken a few years to do though!

Easy Jet’s 320 G-UZHA off loading passengers at Dalcross airport prior to returning to Luton on March 22nd 2024. The airport station is a 20 minute walk away which is OK unless its snowing like today!
Happier days on the Far North, the severe weather saw the tractors confined to shed due boiler issues so stand in’s 26040 and 27054 arrive at Muir with the 0600 Wick/Thurso – Inverness on January 29th 1985
