All on an Area C, Saturday May 31st 1986
An Area C ticket from a few years earlier (courtesy of “TC”), a big area could be covered too
Below are the late Tony Ewer’s moves for the day and not bad at all eh! Tony died on September 30th 2020 and he kindly let me have all his moves books and huge slide collection on his passing.
Tony started bashing seriously in 1981 but by 1985 he became tired of the “huge numbers of stupid kids” noisily invading any non eth working in the Midlands or wherever.
So Tony became a hardcore “Area C” basher where there were so many trains, still with Mk I stock and quality “Crompton” power but you rarely got joined by “stupid kids”
So here we have Tony doing what he enjoyed best, bashing Cromptons back on Saturday May 31st 1986. Those tight pluses at Fareham, Soton and Warminster are all
here, memories eh….?
