John recorded 4EPB’s 5159 and 5438 in his London Bridge log. 10 years later unrefurbished 5159 and 5438 (out of sight) are seen at Charing Cross with the 1209 to Dartford on March 22nd 1993. The unrefurbished EPB’s had that charecterful smell of years of grime and dust, they were special!
