The Chiltern Champion Tour, Feb 2014

The Chiltern Champion I/II Sunday February 9th 2014

A leisurely tour combination with a main line run from Solihull to Marylebone. The fully booked main tour sponsored by Chiltern Railways took “Western Champion” and the “Queen Mother” to Risboro, Aylesbury, Claydon, Bicester, Oxford and Banbury.

A direct run back to Marylebone then an atmospheric night return run (in tandem with the 47) to Solihull on the driest, sunniest day in 2014 so far!

2 personal highlights – a real photo stop at little Islip, Maybach music in the Tesco tunnel at Gerrards X
