Class 40s on the Marches
Thanks to Dave Spencer and Steve Kemp with their help with the gen.
Hereford crews were trained on a variety of power including class 40 and 46. Whilst class 46’s were common on “Marches” passenger turns in the late 70’s, class 40’s were rare on Marches passenger working more regularly on freight turns to Severn tunnel Jn.
